Lunch time for me now. Speedbump cartoons (Dave Coverly ) The Middle Ages crisis made me laugh. The busy Beaver one is funny too. The others are good.
And the artist that made me go looking for the Gallery Catherine Earle who uses Acrylics which surprised me as they are so dainty. These are the last paintings I’m posting from The Spirit Gallery today
My beer at lunch time was called ‘Purity’. It was absolutely lovely.
I hadn’t seen the fairy hiding here at first but I liked the Illustration . ‘Thistledown’ by Adam Oehlers who works in pencil pen and Watercolour. He was born in a Coventry but lives outside UK now
Different cartoonist ..Nate Fakes. Another one for the mathematicians.
Back after lunch .
Another pretty offering! This time it’s the Frontispiece for Butterflies and Moth prints circa 1762. I shivered at those long legged creepy crawlers
Hello again.
Bulgarian Watercolour artist Kalina Toneva features balloons in many of her paintings. I think they give them extra interest as you have to look deeper as like me you weren’t expecting them! I posted her work first in 2017
Michael Cheval again. I’ve just read that he paints on aluminium. He’s in the Absurd genre of artists. He is a Russian Contemporary painter. Certainly different. I like it. Back later. 😊
This is the cover of the book I was talking about .
Going to help Dr S unpack shopping 😀
I have absolutely no idea . I’ve posted it before though in November last year. There are others I want to post by him bit I’ll have to find them first Mark Bannerman
From the sublime to the gentle Children’s and Adults Illustrations by Brian and Cynthia Paterson Foxwoods Tales. So pretty and intricate and even a. Christmassy one. Keeping in touch with our inner child! (Twitterarty psychology today too)
