Every level in this game ranges from 'pretty good, I guess' to god-awful.

Secret Base is best zone.
Egg Rocket is worst zone.

Sonic is also bizarrely heavy in this game and the physics are a bit iffy.

Conclusion: eh

Not to mention this is coming from the same studio that called this a director's cut despite it not having the same director as the original. So appeal to authority isn't the best angle to take here
