I played through the original trilogy and read The Fall of Reach, The Flood, and First Strike when they released. I was hooked on Halo. But after Halo 3, I slowly drifted from the franchise. I can honestly say that Halo 4 is the reason I was brought back. Happy birthday Halo 4!

After all these years, I still find myself much more interested in the esotericism/mysticism of the Forerunners and their history than that of the Covenant. 343 did the impossible at depicting this ancient civilization. Didact picture below sums up my emotions on the topic… 👇
