If anyone is curious, I use this silhouette method thing in place of sketching as I find it easier to grasp things this way? If I am struggling a lot, I will reference a skeletal and doodle bones in loose shapes to get proportions.
Anyone else feel this is easier?
New tyrannosaurus upgrade I spent some long hours studying while in call with friends.
Been really wanting to hit up that year old base with a new one since I think I've improved since, at least a little!
Archeops - First bird Pokemon
Decided I was curious to see how I'd whip up one of these babies in my own style if it were to more closely resemble actual archaeopteryx!
Took some stylistic liberties with a few things, such as fanning out the entire tail rather than the tip only.
I saw Raya and the last dragon a few days ago and decided, yeah, I need to draw Sisu. For her design, I kinda went between her original design in concept art and a little of the new, while kinda riffing on the rest how I felt? I basically had fun with it!

This guy has quite the quirky design, but I really enjoyed it! It's really helping me learn these weird exaggerated shapes and how to not fear pushing them so much. More Spyro! ✨
“Incredible glide, Spyro! I thought I'd be stuck here forever with those ugly vultures standing on my head. Those birds might look tough, but they're pretty tasty. Flame broiled, with a pinch of salt...”

Chose randomly this time around and luck landed on this curvy boy!
“Listen carefully, Spyro: There is a secret area in the Artisans home. It is at the waterfall, try jumping on the stones there.”
One of my big-time favorite designs present! I couldn't wait to get to him, but boy, was he easily the hardest one thus far. EASILY.😂 but yes, Lucas!
