Tragic back stories. I like reality so my villains are based on trauma, abuse, mental illness ans so on. I used that for both my MC and villian because not all people who goes through that are bad people.
I also like making my villans charming 😘

I would say Tyler's determination despite everything he's been through. At 16 his parents were murdered before his eyes and his brother was kidnapped. It left him to stuggle with depression, PTSD and anxiety for the rest of his life. He because a top detecvive though~

Location wise no, Tyler (left) is from Illinois and Quinn (right) lives in New York, original from Maine. Socially wise, similar upbringing, wealthy family. Tyler's family was murdered and brother kidnapped while Quinn killed his family 😕
