Taking a break from the fallout cards to make...A card. Today marks the 33rd anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, an historic event I find both tragic and fascinating. Lot of my inspiration comes from Pripyat too so this was certainly something I wanted to do.

@RobologicalDick 's Ice Cream Monster, Danjo. When I scooped up this design, it made my heart melt and rather than flake out, decided to draw him. Where is he from? my guess is Coney Island.

Comm for my best bud. Recent months have been about discussing ideas for a new story we want to make; often concepts are thrown around and some being too funny or interesting to ignore. The idea of a predatory deer was one such case.

After my last "X" pic, I really wanted to try making more kids book illustrations with simple lines. But as it often is with Hank, what started out as a joke has now become something with potential for a future story starring Maxine...
