The second scenario, Tinderbox (by @AnimatedEmpress, art by @MaferMunuera), casts the PCs as office ladies at Kaneda Orbital Incorporated who are assigned a dead-end job and stumble upon a conspiracy. It’s a more old-school, players-as-corporate-employees type of cyberpunk.
Hard Wired Island has sold 1,300 copies post-KS! To celebrate, here's some art by @vanduobones:
Look, what else do you want from me? We've got full-body cyborgs, loads of contributors, dogs you can pet, anime references, net cafés, cat cafés, maid cafés, gamer millennial assassins, internet weirdos, hot androids—oh my GOD I should have just led with the hot androids
How about the system? I'm glad you asked:
- A unique d6 system designed to be easy to pick up
- Your character's Origin and Traits define who they are, and you can name your own skills/Specialties too. Why roll "Athletics" when you can roll "Office Lady" or "Studied the Blade"
Made some Hard Wired Island Valentine's cards for your cyberpunk pals
So, you know how anime have those mid-episode cards with sponsor messages? The ones that often get cut from streaming sites these days?
Well, Hard Wired Island is bringing it back, and we're offering tabletop developers the chance to sponsor us! See below:
