I didn't even know it was a thing. I probably wouldn't even notice unless it had some racist imagery slapped on top of it like this picture. I mean, c'mon, what kind of racist makes jokes like this? Right? Amiright?

My personal take is that she's doing the same thing as many on the right: making an argument without consideration of the history and cultural context of the events. Free speech is great, but certain groups have more power than others. With great power comes great responsibility
