While I was working on my own pieces, I set out to colour other artist's line art. It was mainly @BishopSteiner and @davidrazi works I coloured as our styles are so similar, so it was easier for me to learn.
I lettered the comic as well.
The ultimate goal was to get back into making comics. It requires a lot of practice and study because it is really hard work especially when you want to do everything and don't know how.
These are from early 2018 and I am entirely self-taught when it comes to this.
While I was figuring things out, I commissioned other artists like @whiskypaintart for pieces so I would have something to study.
To try to learn some graphic design, I worked on some unit logos for some forum members.
Jon's been workin' hard a really long time. Back in the early '90's, @JonEverist, his twin brother and myself would spin at the Luv Affair on weekends, those were SUPER fun times.
Kidding! But Jon is one of the best in the business right now, very worthy of an audiophile set up. https://t.co/sJQaaH9mRD
As I was mucking around with the posters, I was teaching myself how to work completely in digital.
These are dated 15/16.
Then to learn how to paint, I used old posters as a base so I could learn how to mix my palettes.
With @Borderlands re-release of Assault on Dragon Keep I decided to draw my favorite videogame character #TinyTina.
I can relate to her and her trauma issues.
