@artelsia A human version of my grumpy deer would be delightful! Thank you for the chance!
Hawthorn is capable of reaching an ascended form during a Lunar Eclipse. This forces four spines out of her back which jut out and balance the wildness within her. She also grows a sharp, shardlike ruby horn which is used primarily for stabbing purposes.
Unbeknownst to Hawthorn, Cerise was afflicted with a similar affect to a Horcrux from Harry Potter. Because she was affiliated with a being of the wrathful Blood Moon, she inherited that rage and anger towards her own daughter. Her hatred of Hawthorn was never intentional. 💔
Despite not openly wearing the title, Hawthorn is the Princess of the Wilds. She inherited her father's crown and her mother's garb.
The Mark of Artemis upon Hawthorn's back is a blessing from the Blood Moon. The twinkle mark glows red whenever danger is near. The wing-like markings are where the spectral fae wings shine from. 🦋
