Emera's use of her semblance in a fight always depends on what situation she finds herself in. As it disrupts ones auditory senses, she'll apply it against mostly creatures of Grimm, who are eaiser to fall suspect to it, as opposed to humans and Faunus, which require more focus.

Pyrous isn't one who is easily annoyed. Even when she is, it is because she is caught off guard by situations she doesn't understand. As such, it falls under her inability to fully grasp the situation presented to her, like humans dressing up as dragons.
