posting them one more time as my nightly manifestation before i go to sleep.
look at them. they’re halfway real. you can look at them but you don’t know their story yet.
YET.
you’ll know their story, and you’ll know it SOON!
no thoughts only Silas. god i love this bastard. he can literally kick your ass but one of my favorite scenes of him is when he literally falls on the floor in fear of a goddamn toaster. he’s my little skrunkly forest entity in human form. my baybee. ray of sunshine.
last but certainly not least is Luke! he’s an absolutely manic golden retriever of a human being with a strong sense of justice and the best sword skills in the land. he’s a sweetie, and usually is the more level-headed one between him and oliver.
aaaand from my first book, we have my baby, Oliver! i describe him as an anxious gay mess, but really he’s just traumatized and trying his best to do the right thing. when he’s not stressed? oh boy he’s a pure ball of energy and fun. he’s also violently scottish.
Alright, I may be a graphic designer, but book covers are NOT my forte. However, I kept looking at the art I commissioned of my characters and thinking "that would make a bomb book cover..." so uhh. I made it. What do y'all think, would you pick this up and read it?
he’s real even if the publishing industry doesn’t want him to be.
HE’S REAL TO ME.
And of course it’s me, so I did a funky alternate version! I’ll do some more meme drawings later (still need to draw best crime dad shirt after all)
Happy birthday Oliver. one day i’ll share your story with the world. for now… sorry i keep traumatizing you 😭🧡
please, publishing industry, let the world meet them someday soon.
(this amazing commission is of my favorite scene in the whole book. it’s. y’all don’t even know.)
