@root_toot @TheStoryMuseum The imaginary stall in 'Pumpkin Soup' belongs to the duck...although cat does cook his own soup in the third of the trilogy (called Delicious.) Seen as it's #nationalhomemadesoupday Here you go.
For all the people who are about to make some PumpkinSoup. Or even carve a pumpkin. From #PumpkinSouptrilogy of books.
It's the 1st of October - #Pumpkin time! It's also the end of #RedSquirrelAwarenessweek. I'm going to be posting pictures (often with squirrels) from my book #PumpkinSoup this October because it was published 20 years ago this month.
@STEVEaWEBB Well normally you would have to wait for Tiger appreciation day but as you have read it a million times (so lovely to hear) that seems like enough appreciation to call the day - thanks so much. (It is called #TheBabyWhoWouldntGoToBed in the UK.)
Last one from me for #MeteorWatchDay .Has anyone seen any yet? Here's some from my book #TattyRatty. #space
It's #nationalwritingday @writeday today! https://t.co/yX6seh2EOj. I know at Downview School they promised to write stories today. Here are William and 'the Bear Under the Stairs' joining in.
Last one for #EatWhatYouWantDay . 'And sausages fell from the Stars' from my book 'DogBiscuit'. #Dogs #Dogheaven
@HilsRobinson This is so lovely to hear. And yes I am always so delighted when teachers have had me sign their own childhood copy- usually Pumpkin Soup, Tatty-ratty or The Bear under the Stairs. It happens more often now... Ofcourse... I'm not that old -they were all published when I was 12.
@The_Elfy Hi Ellen. Yes. There are three books in the 'Pumpkin Soup' trilogy with cat, duck and squirrel. They are 'Pumpkin Soup', 'A Pipkin of Pepper' and 'Delicious!' All are about friendship and sharing... with lots of cooking... and soup - 'the best you ever tasted.'
@The_Elfy Thank you Ellen - I'm so glad you and your family liked my books - always lovely to hear. Here is one from #TattyRatty and one from #PumpkinSoup.
