#MushokuTensei Vol 8 ✅ The magic school arc begins! A SoL setting & it seems like it will stay that way for a while, which I don't mind at all. The Linia and Pursena incident nearly went a little too far imo. I do hope Syphy finds the courage to reveal herself to Rudeus soon 😄

#MushokuTensei Vol 7 ✅ This vol was also a learning curve for Rudeus. Instead of learning how to work as a team, he has to start over, meet new people work with them & by himself. Lessons were learned & mistakes were made. It was a bittersweet experience with lingering regrets.

#MushokuTensei Vol 6 ✅ The long journey back home has finally ended 👏 A lot happens: Saving Aisha & Lilia, meeting Zanoba & the run in with Orsted & Nanahoshi - set up for the future, Ruijerd's departure & then the stuff with Eris 😬... Excited to head into new territory now🙌

#MushokuTensei Vol 5 ✅ The main event being the reunion with Paul and the big fallout. They both made good points. I enjoyed his meeting with his Aunt & the Dragon meat extra chapter was funny. It seems like there was quite a bit of political set up being made in the background.

#MushokuTensei Vol 4 ✅ They finally left the Demon continent! The events in Doldia village was pretty much exactly as the anime adapted it. I liked that the Roxy chapter explained a little more about the Fangs of the Black Wolf members. Also, it's not hard to guess who Fitz is😄

#MushokuTensei Vol 3✅ The events that transpired in Rikarisu was a big learning curve for Rudeus before the true start of their journey back home. The emphasis on learning to trust & communicate more effectively as a group, instead of making "convenient" self interest decisions.

#MushokuTensei Vol 2 ✅ This volume revealed more about the history and heroes of the world, that the anime didn't really cover. It also gave me a better understanding of the Greyrat (Boreas) political background. Another bonus was more insight into Ghislaine's perspective 🙌

After a 9 month break from reading LNs, I finally got around to reading Vol 8. As the cover implies, it had a lot more focus and delvopment on Theo, which was great. I also liked the change of environment as this arc was a pretty intense naval battle... Onto Vol 9 🙌🏽
