We thought for #InternationalWomensDay2020 we would celebrate 3 great women from Hull
Amy Johnson the first female pilot to fly solo from London to Australia, Lillian Bilocca who campaigned to keep our fishermen safe at sea & Mary Murdoch was the first female doctor in Hull!

Our #HullCurriculum project celebrates some of #Hull's significant women: Mary Murdoch - Hull's first woman GP; pioneering aviator Amy Johnson and Lillian Bilocca - leader of the Headscarf Revolutionaries who campaigned for safer conditions on board trawlers #WomenMW #MuseumWeek
