Just learned that Taku Iwasaki, the composer for Gurren Lagann is also responsible for the soundtrack of another show I really like, Oban Star Racers. It is so immediately obvious when you listen to it, but I didn't pick up on it 15 years ago.. how was I even sentient back then?

Weather is nice lately, so I wondered what casual clothes some of my characters would wear if they went for some ice cream. To Lago, "casual" seems to be synonymous with unarmed combat while Emils entire wardrobe consists of hooded ponchos with heat vision googles...?

I'll never finish this, but I might as well post it. Felt some wanderlust a few months ago and just wanted to draw something japan-related.

It's getting colder so I got the itch to design a fluffy winter planet outfit for adult Lago.
Super happy with the fur shapes, even though I just drew a bunch of intersecting squares and kept the silhouette.. very sophisticated.
