6/7
This boss was the first concept of The Anomaly but showing only part of the boss was too complex so we made him able to move and changed a bit the concept. We then used the concept for The Ritualist, world 3 end boss.
5/7
This giant golem was supposed to be a world 2 boss but it was too masive to animate properly and we gave up the idea, he is still in the game as a NPC of world 3.
4/7
The Virgin was another boss for Kickstarter backer but this one was very different, we had total freedom as long as the player would not directly attack the boss so we imagined being able to pray to damage the boss as we do not have platforming elements in Dark Devotion.
3/7
Nekosh was designed by one of our Kickstarter backer, he actually sent us a complete detailed plan for all 3 phases so we only had to create him! It was very nice!
2/7
Adonias was really different in the first concepts and we wanted to be able to fight him directly but then we wanted some very impressive bosses, he ended up so big that it was too complex to animate it so he summons enemies.
1/7
These were the first concepts for Jezebel and the Martyr, they finally evolved a lot and we are happy how they turned out!

For a long time we had a different intro cinematic made by Max Fieve (https://t.co/NQXvqFwFRl) and animated with our game engine. It unraveled a different intro to the game giving more personal motivations to our templar hero. https://t.co/9hQI9v1uaG
We have been working on a complete graphical rework of our tutorial, this is a sneak peek of it. It comes with a rework of our main Hub too that we will show later.
