Just watched episode 808 of OP and it was really great and even elevated some parts of the manga. The anime has improved a lot since the last time I checked on it so I got surprised. Anyway phenomenal «fight» and dynamic, I’ve been loving the new development of Sanji so far🙏
another thing I loved in this arc was the amount of W’s Usopp got in the most Usopp way possible. It was so funny especially how everyone began calling him GOD USOPP or that he managed to piss Doffy off more than anyone giving him a 500 million bounty. I love this gag so much 😭
backstory so far is because of Law’s dynamic with his eventual father figure Corazon. Its insane how much is done to his character in only 7 chapters and he is easily one of the best ones in the entire series. Even though I knew he’d die it still made me teary eyed. Best dad EVER

Oda really woke up one day and decided to create one of the best characters in the entire series in the span of 7 chapters
It’s awesome that Oda is so emotionally invested in many moments he creates that he actually cries from it
The worldbuilding in this arc is amazing and Oda once again have created a very fascinating and beautiful setting with a lot of thought put into the details and how it connects to the rest of the world in One Piece both thematically and storywise.
