still working on the tank project. on a side note, on the eastern front, cottages and houses like this were burned down because they were perfect hiding places for tanks

i'm not a character designer, so I created this chara by just stealing elements from people more talented than me. proportions from "Tomcat's big adventure", the face and cheeks from Tankuro, and I tried to put in some Alvin Fai inspired shapes

found this old gif of my vinesauce animation- looking back, it isn't too bad, considering I didn't really know what animation principles were yet. and i still cant draw hands, even now

I've been following @uricksaladbar 's painting guides. They're still only studies (from Leyendecker), but I've learned a few things from each one. hoping to build up enough confidence to create original things again

@NabibbleJr last thing- I also think it would help you to look at how shadows on the face are formed- heres a few pictures that might help
