I'm rereading Usagi Yojimbo and I just got to Stan's "We were born to suffer" period of the comic

So i've been trying to practice some more digital painting and a friend sugguested I practice and start with blocking in the painting first.

I pulled out one of my old gesture sketches, and I wanted to know if I was on the right track with it
