The eternal debate. Karloff/Clive or Cushing/Lee.....

Peter Cushing arrived in Spain for filming and immediately told the Producer that he could not do the picture, he felt it was too soon after his wife's death. Chris Lee convinced Cushing to stay on by reminiscing about the previous movies they worked on together (1971 Dec.)

Before allowing the film to be released, the BBF instructed "Hammer to trim some scenes. The scene where Andre Morell decapitates the zombie in the graveyard with a shovel had to be reduced from showing 4 blows to just the one. 'Plague of the Zombies; (1966) watch in post below..
