One of the more recent NWR acquisitions, No. 15 “Rosie,” bought in 1993 off a closed heritage railway.
She’s quickly become chief of the shunters at Tidmouth Hump Yard, and prizes her massive “night shift” headlamp.
Engines and trucks alike know better than to cross her.

D4 “Derek” arrived in 1971 as a potential supplement to Edward and BoCo on the Brendam Branch.
Initial running-in trials were unsatisfactory. After a brief period in storage, he has since been converted to battery power and is now a very capable shunter at Crovan’s Gate Works.
