@EckhartsLadder Star Wars clearly has an audience in Japan as I have seen multiple references to it and influences from it in some series. We’re even about to get the first manga that isn’t an adaptation of a movie, book, or show and is an entirely original installment.
@OOCCouchGags And even before the buyout, the show was already leaching off the popularity of others’ in order to stay relevant, and not just the insane amount of pointless guest stars and (usually late) “parodies” they do nowadays.
