@MSeabraCoelho Someone I think deserves consideration for a best artist #HugoAward is @JOE_WILSON, whose cover for City of Last Chances is a real stand-out piece, but who also did plenty of other awesome works in 2022.
His Insta is worth checking out: https://t.co/PAFyl7A9CA

The thing with #HugoAwards nominations is that I always find out about someone's excellent work late in the process.
I only recently learned about @iriscompietart's work (and added to my ballot).
I hope enough other folks nominating for the Hugos know about her work.

Figuring out your #HugoAwards ballot and looking for suggestions?
Have you considered @gautambhatia88 for the Astounding?
Considered Factory Witches by @csmalerich for novella?
Considered the Kirby bio by @tomscioli for Best Related?

Reminder: Will Staehle (@unusualcorp) has continued to crush it in 2020.
Seriously consider him for your Best Artist #HugoAward ballot.
This year, he did excellent covers for @GaileyFrey, @clpolk @robertjbennett & @ek_wagner.

Was in a Twitter thread today in which one of the participants started to trash-talk the Best Fan Writer #HugoAward category.
And several of the points he raised stuck in my craw.
So let me re-iterate some of the reasons that Fan Writer is such a great category.

When you're nominating for #HugoAwards Fan Artist, you should seriously consider @IainJClark for inclusion on your ballot.
He's very good, active in the SFF community, and has volunteered his fan art for Worldcon progress reports.
