The events throughout the entirety of arrancar arc from Rukia's speech to Ulquiorra's death showed Orihime that her heart belonged with her friends, and just as much, their hearts belonged with her.

It very obviously means everything. Her heart isn't in her chest or skull. It was given to Ichigo.

I'm thinking about how Rukia's infamous speech is in the same chapter as Ichigo's promise to protect orihime. And it is also the first time that the concept of "heart" ( ommited in viz translation...damn it ) is brought up. And, Ichigo using his namesake kanji for the promise.
