this is where i think kanade comes in. kanade's card is called "what the hanged girl saw," a reference to the hanged man card in tarot. kanade is hanged from her feet like the original card, which would mean she literally would see mizuki (the hermit) as reversed from her pov.

i also want to point out that mizuki's in-game card is upright despite the title. i believe this is supposed to symbolize the persona they put up/how they pretend to be ok being lonely to hide their wish to connect with the others.

in honor of the upcoming mizuki focus event in jp, i want to rant a little about wandering hermit card names and how they might play a role in this new event - 🪡
