Merry Christmas! I got you these rashes because I’m good at drawing them and terrible at gift giving. https://t.co/5Icf4AiLO9
4. I loved working on this pathogenetic illustration of rheumatoid arthritis because it was challenging and I learned a whole lot and maybe also because it ended up as a delightful rainbow of cellular destruction. https://t.co/ewixvbpxAH
9. Nursemaid's elbow, @JAMA_current Patient Page. It's always fun to draw some straight-up anatomy every once in awhile, which is a fairly rare occurrence these days. I also got to use my favorite model, my baby girl. I did not give her a rash. This time. https://t.co/ERp2B7CLLl
So sad to hear of the passing of illustrator/author Alice Provensen. “Our Animal Friends at Maple Hill Farm” was by far my favorite book as a kid and is still on the list of my top 5 books ever. So witty and blunt and beautiful and hilarious. This is my well-loved copy.
I did a double take at this 2nd century sculpture from India at @artinstitutechi because that’s a Wild Thing, right?
Hundreds of books to choose from, and she picked out this one tonight. ❤️
FUN FACT: I'm pretty pleased with the cut of salmon I illustrated for https://t.co/mPsgLLf4BJ
My super talented coworkers at @JAMA_current are not on Twitter but like to draw me looking uncomfortable. #SciArtTweetstorm #sciart
