Adamant and little Rose, a totally innocent summer child who shall be part of a deeply complex plotline later in the comic.
Adamant as an adult. Which may or may not be based on adult Vitani from TLK2.
Originally, Hope was going to be injured in an accident. However, we wanted to depict Hope's disability as being a natural part of her growth as opposed to a "tragic" aspect of her life for the storyline to fixate on, so we decided to have her be born with a missing leg instead.
We liked Labrys and Violet - as they were named back then - a great deal and wanted to expand their usage to something "more". Labrys's design was revamped to be more comic friendly. She became a cis lioness, Hope. Violet remained gender-nonconforming and was renamed Storm.
ART THREAD: Hope and Storm's development. Storm started life as one of my TLK OCs back in 2018, designed by Ari-Galaxy on DA. Hope was originally one of Cat's D&D characters. Cat and I decided to make them maned lioness OCs who get into a fight but eventually fall in love.
I was struggling with this chapter cuz technical difficulties so I drew my friend's OC Anansi interacting with Adamant. Anansi belongs to @aFallenWolf
Tempest is a devout follower of the Traveler, and always puts the safety of her cubs before all else. Except of course at the cost of freedom. She found herself stuck in the Golden Grove and is forced to raise her cubs there in secret.
@sapphoprints I love this idea! I wanted to do it with mine too but I just couldn't keep up with it. I don't know if I'd call it a quirk, but I try to give unrelated lions different face/eye/ear shapes while keeping them as liony as possible. (The main characters get different body types LOL)
A wonderful drawing of Hope from @ArtziTweets ! Go commission them!
