British whole nation was furious but famous jurists explained no problem IJN and ceased - Kowshing Incident.

On 24th March 1891, HIJMS HASHIDATE launched at YOKOSUKA Naval yard.
She was youngest sister of MATSUSHIMA class protected cruiser, mounted single 320mm Canet guns designed by Louis-Émile Bertin.

On 14th August 1904, Battle of Ulsan.
VADM Hikonojo KAMIMURA commanded IJN 2nd Fleet and captured Russian Vladivostok SQ off Ulsan.
Russian cruiser Rurik sunk and other 2 cruiser damaged so heavy.
After battle, VADM KAMIMURA ordered all Russian survivor pickup.
