I feel like it's maybe shmup heresy but I'm not sure I like Darius II at all and I can't work out why... It does alot of stuff I should love like it's music and it's Outrun style pathing through the game but eh, doesn't click.

Luckily there's another Darius on my list this week!

Whilst im reminiscing about things I may never make... Heres a comic idea I drew in 2010 (11 years ago how??...) and a much more recent updated version of the character. Still writing and playing with it but comics is hard, Comics on top of Day job and game dev is even harder 😂

Playing Galactic Attack is reminding me of the ORIGINAL version of Deadeus that I started making in 2012/3ish (!) Which was going to be a shmup as I bloody love that genre but now I feel like it will be too far a departure from the game I made so im not sure it will happen now...
