6/ I then entered a relative long experimental period, where I sketched ideas, tried to push it to abstraction.. but I had to focus on life.. (met my lovely wife, struggled to find jobs, and had two wonderful kids in the meantime :)
5/ I traveled a lot to Berlin, and once discovered this huge docking cantilever along the Spree kanal. It was used to move coal from boats to the nearby factory. Lost in the middle of nature, this monument of a past era kept my attention.

4/ This one depicts the former soviet government building in the center of Berlin during its deconstruction around 2008. I snuck inside the site and explored this post apocalyptic giant steel skeleton.

3/ After this first attempt, I kept coming back to that style and made several portraits of places I found interesting. Wether esthetically or historically charged, what triggered me was their complexity, and how to resolve it in one image.

2/ During last year and a half, I released three large drawing in the #spatialaccretion series. I developed that concept during my architectural studies, to communicate complex spaces somewhere between maps and perspectives.
