I want a different hairstyle for this but I can't think of anything, Ideas?

The image in my head is very different than this, I dont think Im going to finish it but here it is in its current state. (based on what my brain sees when I listen to Crows 1 by Aesop Rock)

A one hour/no ref challenge before bed (The former art teacher in me demands I say refs are GOOD the point of this was to draw away from perfectionism and the need to overdo it)
