These buasadors are descended from a flock of your more standard stock, stranded in the tropics around richards island thousands of years ago.

The competition in the tropics forced them on land.

These fist sized dragon bats are known for feasting almost exclusively on other dragons, primarily drakosavrans, avimimids, and other dragon bats.

Inspired by a friend, who chose to go by alva.

Like all straight dragons, this smaller variety dwells in the shallow straights and lagoons in the south, filling similar niches to the cold adapted dragon seals.

This species is 1.7 meters long on average.

A unique derivative of the drakonsavrea clade, fire bellies have adapted their draconis organs into glands that produce chemicals used in bioluminesance, transported to the light spots through the lymphatic system.

These wyverns have heavily converged with bats, however they use an owl like sound cone instead of enlarged ears.
This genus, drakovampirus, has 3 species of hemophageous dragon bats.

#smaugust2021 day 7: the king of the grasslands

These drakes have notably convergently evolved with theropods. This genus is fairly diverse, with notable members like T. semma and T. koryfi, opposite sides of the size spectrum.

T. semma are roughly 2.5 meters long.

These drakes, which are part of the mammalioform clade, have adapted their wings into sails for display and regulation.

They hunt large drakes like Drakotherium using acidic spray to irritate and blind, while clawing and nipping at weak points.

These dragons, like their lineage, have long since lost their wings in favor of a terrestrial life. Their caustic sprah traded for a gullet of sorts.

Some lineages in this group reevolved flight, to form the wyvern clade.

Blister Lizards are members of the genus of Fouskaladrakos, within the Drakonsavrea order.

This genus is known for its members having a painful, caustic, exothermic spray that causes burns and intense blisters.
