The reason for Laura's braid is because it's a memento to her late grandmother who had a braid and would always make her hair into braid when she comes visit.

While Laura is a brave girl, she does have some fears:

Snails/Slugs - This is for comedic purposes, she finds them really gross and unnatural, she'll freeze up if they get onto her.

Snakes - She has Ophidiophobia, she received when she was only 6 years old.

Laura has a younger sister.

Her name is Lizzy and she's about 2 years younger then Laura and she's a gardener.

She loves her older sister very much. ^w^

Laura is a baseball fan.

She became a fan when she saw her Dad watch a baseball game on TV when she was 5 years old and was really intrigued by it.

Laura is both girly and tomboy-ish.

The reason for this is because of two of her friends, Cherie wanted her to be more girly while Enka wanted her to be more tomboyish.

So she settle for both.
