She wasn’t overly affectionate, but if I waited 15 minutes she’d eventually follow me into whatever room I was in. In the middle of the night, she’d wake me up to cuddle her, just hovering over me in the dark like she was plotting my death.
Cheina would try to lick INSIDE your mouth. She attempted to eat metal siding off a house, in-ground sprinklers, a rightfully pissed-off raccoon, and rocks. She successfully ate wooden chicken skewers, a pile of cornbread (she broke out in hives), a rag, and a cassette tape.
I like to retry this illustration every once in a while. Hagan’s ears still perk up whenever I say Cheina’s name, so I’d like to think she misses her big protector just as much as I do.
Boy, I sure miss hiking in the nice weather, but illustrating seasoned hiker Kalea makes me feel like I’m in the wild. What are you looking forward to doing when the weather warms up?
Tatum, AKA https://t.co/v69G4y7ik2.Tatum on Instagram, is a delight. I’ve been very much enjoying his videos. The dude is too cool.
