Apologies for the poor resolution.

2. Here are some works by Henry Ossawa Tanner (June 21, 1859 – May 25, 1937). He was the only black student at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and was a favorite of professor Thomas Eakins. Tanner was the first African-American painter to gain international acclaim.
Here are some works by Italian Renaissance painter Sofonisba Anguissola (c. 1532 – 16 November 1625). She studied with Michelangelo Buonarroti, and painted for many royal figures. Her success paved the way for larger numbers of women to pursue serious careers as artists.

Being driven from land to land by Juno (Hera), the goddess Latona (Leto), mother of Apollo and Diana (Artemis), knelt down to quench her thirst at a clear pond in Lycia. The local peasants wouldn't let her drink, and muddied up the water, so Latona transformed them into frogs.
@ad_mireia The woman reminds me of Leonardo da Vinci's "Portrait of Isabella d'Este," from 1500. Beautiful image.
Happy Birthday to Spanish painter Diego Velázquez (June 6, 1599 – August 6, 1660).
