I wish the last 2 issues of 1602 FF lived up to the hype with the gorgeous cover instead I got not so great interiors, at least I can console myself with another Doom betrays Namor scene. Those are always fun.

@SuperiorDawn It's def an interesting subject to discuss bc while there are x gene mutants, Namor being known as the First Mutant and predating the x men in publication is interesting too. Plus I do like the way it adds an extra layer of tension between Namor and the x men

@comicavalcade I love the x men dearly, but I do think this subject is interesting to discuss bc I feel not everything should be tied to them. Like this panel is a great example of the tension Namor faces for not quite fitting in anywhere except Atlantis.

fighting the urge to rant about Namor's costume design again, its been 4 years now? since his black armor dropped, I'm still upset every time I see that belt, why couldn't the artist connect it? why are other artists not giving him the fishnet up the sides but keeping that belt!

@Cannibal_Wings @jaig_eyes so albatross and hummingbird cross are what I try to infuse in my sketches. However so many artists just draw like typical wings even if it doesn't make sense you know? here are a few more, sorry for gushing but like if you need more wing panels I have them!

@Cannibal_Wings @jaig_eyes because they are so big, and like I enjoy that over the too small ones. It's fantasy it doesn't need to be hidden away or god forbid they even put it in the right place like this one. IT'S NOT EVEN ON HIS ANKLES. However Everett had small wings for Namor too-
