@andreas_rocha 2. You've created a path while directs the viewer's towards your main subject. The bottom image is simple and more defined. The top works as well but it ends to the gate instead of the building / fort (unless that was your initial intention).

@andreas_rocha I hope you don’t mind if I give some comments:-

1. The bottom image fits well in the one-third composition whereby the focal point is neither in the middle or at the end. This creates better focus. Also the horizon line is slanted therefore creating a more dynamic scene.
