The original protagonist was actually Elliot, the guy who wasn't in the comic.
he have been always the focus of the story, i actually did two comics of him.
that was years ago ans since maire is now more popupar than him, i thought peopke will like more a comic centered on her.

Originaly david was an old dude but since he is inmortal i thought that he ageing wasn't making sense, so he have been "young" for years now despite being almost 100 yrs old
he even have it's own precuel Comic i did a few years ago!

that means that black hair is not their original color.
maire is irish and orange hair

they Eat souls.. like that anime, what was it's name...eater of souls???
anyway.
the original idea is that the "in humans" leave souls as they die, and the more souls one consume the darker their hair, eyes and blood.
that's why all he agents have black hair but not the new guy

the original team consist of 4 people, the new guy, david, maire and elliot.
I have to cut elliot of the pilot since he is too powerfull.
he is a guy with no soul or personality, used mostly as a weapon.
The only person who can control him is maire since they are a "couple"

I'm very glad so many people liked my new WebComic, "WE ARE"
sadly the comic was just a small pilot, the main idea for a full series have been in the works for around 7 years!
i'm gonna post some of the original ideas and stuff that couldn't make it into the comic.
