Remembering the amazing Tomie dePaola on his birthday today. (my children's book author/illustrator hero!) For me, meeting him a few years back at the Guggenheim was equivalent to if I were to meet Paul McCartney. Happy birthday Tomie!

Getting back into jogging again (despite being told NOT to by physical therapist). I usually don't defy recommendations like this, but I just feel better overall when I jog, and it actually makes my arthritic back feel better as well.
