A new WIP Composite Node has been added to Inochi2D that allows combining the rendering of multiple parts in to one pass (img 1); this will allow you to combine the rendering of multiple parts without having awkward looking combination of colors happening (as seen in img 2)

Inochi2D is a in-development open source real-time 2D puppet animation suite and specification written in #dlang, allowing the end user to create and animate puppets in real time through various methods, including face tracking.

Happy to announce the design for our new mascot, she doesn't have a name (yet) but she'll be featured throughout the project more as it develops.
