in case anybody was wondering how I decided on the texturing direction for the ibis sketch - I used this 1920s Art Deco Egyptian Revival Canopic Vase as my reference... it has got some great color variations and is very much on 'brand' 🧐
Some inspiration for you all - today from photographer Jimmy Nelson. His tribal peoples photography is amazing and unlike other great photographers he shares decent resolution pics on his website too https://t.co/4oM1P1Jxgq so visit it for more!
I wasn't going to sketch this weekend and just wanted to concentrate on a long term project I'm doing buuuuut I couldn't resist the prompt so I squeezed in a few hours... The prompt was 'Bloom' I was trying to get a sort of timid smile, not a full o teeth action... not easy🤔
Weekend practice based on a prompt - the word was 'Parasite' ... #Zbrush
finally did some sculpting this weekend for our work SculptClub. We have a theme each weekend, this time it was 'Moonlight' so I thought I'd do a Moon Rabbit [pounding rice for rice cakes] from the Korean and Japanese folklore... He's fierce with his mullet!
