Happy #ValentinesDay from the #IntrepidMuseum! Edgar Gerald Blankenship served on board the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CV-11) in World War II. He was a pilot with fighter squadron VF-18, which was attached to Intrepid from August through November 1944.
