Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788) created this beautiful painting of Holywells Park in 1748-1750. It's his only known landscape of Ipswich and depicts the park's man-made reservoirs. The park is still a stunning part of our town, extending over 69 acres. #cityMW #MuseumWeek
