i don't have much to say about row 4; i think the designs are super solid, but it feels like the "safest" row, the one closest to the originals

that said, i think this twilight is my favorite. it rly captures the adventurous spirit that i think is just perfect for earth pony twi

row 2 also has far and away my favorite rainbow dash design

most of the dash concepts are just Rainbow Dash, Again. they don't do alot that's too new or different, but this one IS SO FUCKING EXTRA and i love the gold accents

wrt ye olde mane 6 g5 designs, i am a known row 5 appreciator, but i also rly like alot of what row 2's got going on

i like applejack's darker colors and the extra sass she's got, and rarity looks like a straight up wizard, she's so rad. and the contrast between them is so good

was looking at the old mane 6 g5 concepts recently and alot of them are pretty hit and miss, but damn unicorn fluttershy??? all bangers

so i thought the tale of minty as the prophesied hero of yore was just cuz she's a popular g3 pony who was conspicuously absent for most of g4

but no! g1 minty was one of the very first six ponies ever created!!!!

on the topic of old ideas i wanna revisit, i'm thinking about LOVELIGHT, which was my idea for a mlp g5 based on the old leaked concepts from back in the day
