anyway the most important thing about this page is it made me realize terezi wears fucking crocs, which is actually the most important realization in this entire comic so far

the art here is just absolutely gorgeous

i take it back actually; terezi being there when vriska wakes up just to slap her matters tremendously bcuz it is hilarious

aradia's assbeating does awaken vriska in the dream world tho, which puts another point on my "trauma is what wakes u" theory

but again this shit doesn't matter bcuz we already know all the dream selves die before the trolls catch up with john

speaking of things i don't understand why they're happening we briefly cut to sollux and eridan throwing lasers at each other and i have NO CLUE why

maybe they're fighting over feferi or somthn, but whatever conflict this is a climax to isn't shown to us AT ALL

anyway aradia shows up and beats the shit outta vriska. hell yea get her ass

i don't rly know why this is happening but i guess u don't rly need a "reason" to beat up vriska, and aradia has a better reason than most regardless, what with the whole "being murdered by her" thing

after vriska's realization and subsequent change of heart, her and tavros have become a full-fledged adventuring duo and it's honestly rly nice

and hey tavros gets his own splash art in this page, good for him after just getting bullied nonstop for so long

back in the present, we see all the trolls having fun adventures in their respective magical worlds

this injury tho is apparently what causes terezi to wake up in the dream world....

between this, john and sollux's awakenings, i wonder if some kinda severe trauma is actually a requirement to awakening in the dream world
