ok fine my friems have psy-opped me into this meme
the results aren't actually as embarrassing as i thought they would be
(i couldn't get the history to appear without searching somthn first which is why the top one is like that lmao) https://t.co/7urR0INg5X
me whenever an archetype with no hard once-per-turns on their effects gets legacy support
FUCKING LEGEND TIER: YUSEI (5D'S)
yusei's the perfect example of how yugioh shows a character's personality and theming thru their deck; he uses low level guys that work best in unison cuz he believes in solidarity and collective power, and also they're EXTREMELY CUTE AND COOL
ABSOLUTE LAD TIER: YUGI (THE FIRST ONE)
i'll never get over how cool summoned skull is. yugi's deck being split between heroic fantasy archetypes and demonic looking beasts blew my mind as a kid and i still love it to this day. all of these cards are classics for good reason
PRETTY COOL TIER: JADEN (GX)
jaden's original hero deck isn't bad, but what lands him a high spot on this list is how his deck evolves in a natural and extremely cool way with each season, from comic book heroes, to aliens, to a rad mixture of both, and also yubel is there
OKAY TIER: YUYA (ARC-V)
yuya's clown animal theme is objectively the best fucking thing in existence, but the problem with his deck is he has TOO MANY CARDS and it's hard to get any real attachment to any specific cards
also dark rebellion is the coolest ace monster no question
WHATEVER TIER: YUSAKU (VRAINS)
yusaku's main deck is again mostly just material for extra deck plays, but the theme of cyberspace animal puns is very creative and cool
he's got alot of sick extra deck monsters too, but he's got way too much filler to land a higher ranking
