this was the real standout of today, by which i mean it stands out cuz of how absurdly boring it is. it literally feels like a cut and paste job that was assembled in a factory. HUGE pass

ngl if i hadn't watched the first episode of the 2001 anime i would've been so lost during this. scenes just kinda crash into each other with no rhyme or reason, and it's like 90% exposition (and 10% rat boy being SUPER CREEPY)
