Man, if you had told me this was the final episode I would have believe you because it sure felt like it! While a bit of a stepdown animation-wise from last week, it doesn't diminish the brilliant finish of ep, particular the last couple scenes

The funny irony of all Ko's existential questioning and pondering to me is at end no matter what path he chooses he very well may not survive the year as result regardless 😅

Poor kid certainly didn't ask for that

Ok use of OP at end of the last episode was pretty dang clever and a great way close out the season

Moving on, although it took me longer than I wanted to finish this due different engagements, I really enjoyed it! Will definitely continue with on S2

Looking kinda of good there Ryuen oof 😬

For this series standards that was it's best fight even if doesn't mean much considering there is only like... 2 😅

Wish Kei's feeling towards Ayanokoji were built a bit more to get a better of a sense of why she go this far but

Its classic Engage Kiss to have Shu, now with his memories restored, have the first thing out of his mouth be about how many women he banged 😅

In fact weirdly enough the underpinnings of this entire conflict is actually related to Shu's promiscuity

Haine's world being built as some kind of bizarro version Hitogashima makes me wonder if she might have planned to replace all the humans she would killed in the real world here as shadows. At least that's how I am interpreting "bring her family home" line

She's finally here!

More observant anime-onlies might have actually noticed her silhouette in the OP. Love the dull seipa-like coloring that happens whenever she's on screen too. On that note guess its time for Ko to learn about the darker side of vampires huh

Feel quite bad for Cassandra. As from being shackled to the same myth of her greek namesake she has one of worst types of foresight: the one takes in even account of teller's actions to avoid the prediction making it nearly impossible to advert the future they see
