Let’s compare it to other games.

graphics from the 80’s to early 90s, from the Atari 2600 to SNES, have become retro and timeless in their own right. They are a product of the time, but they still look great and they bring the feel of the time period with them.

There are also themes of nature, good vs evil, finding purpose in one’s self, and finding the light in the darkness that surrounds us. Some story beats, sidequests, and the final boss bring these themes to light which makes the story and characters all the more great

And there are SO MANY MORE that it’s best to stop now. I could go on and on about all the great characters, but we have to move on. All that I will say is that, much like the ones in Majora’s Mask, each character is fun and thought out.

Speaking of the Konohana tree, there is it’s spirit, Sakuya.

She is the one who brings Amaterasu to life and is a wise, caring spirit of Nippon. Her tree extends to all over Nippon to protect others and keep the land alive

One of my personal favorites is Mr. Orange, the Elder of Kamiki Village. While he may be a side character, he is super fun. A kind hearted soul who looks out for those in the village and does his best to look after the Konohana tree. Also, he can break dance

The there is Waka.
A mysterious man that sometimes speaks French that you encounter a couple of times on your journey. While there is more to him that meets the eye, he is super fruity and is a blast to encounter. And can be funny with a prophecy or two.
Also, he has a lightsaber

Your side kick/guide for this adventure is Issun. He is snarky and cocky. But much like Midna from Twilight Princess, there is some heart to him and it does shine through. While he can be a perv at times, he is a ton of fun.
